Unfortunately, I had some issues with making the cinematic piece for this journey which is why I am counting it as a failed attempt. I did not realise but the majority of the hike was in the military zone on Dartmoor which meant that I was not able to fly my drone. The weather was also not on our side so when I was not in the military zone there were very few opportunities to fly the drone. This gave me more time to focus on the photographs that I was making which was a good thing about this. However frustrating that I will not be able to place my zine next to a cinematic piece like I have done with “Ocean Path”. In the future, I will make sure I know that I can fly my drone in the area that I am going to, this was an organised walk so this element was out of my control.
