After looking at the work of Sugimoto and editing my last shoot in black and white, I wanted to return to my previous shoot. I shot some seascapes in a Sugimoto style, however previously I had edited them in colour. Now transforming my images into black and white I believe I have created a new aesthetic to my images which I think suits my motives more. I think that the simple, two-toned images display a more peaceful dynamic to the viewer. I think that throughout this project I will often return to my previous shoot as my work deepens and edits continue to refine. This is so that once I am ready, I will be able to place together a series of images with continuity and uniform.
