Something that I am usually conscious about is how I am placing my photographic work in the world of photography. This is why, when I create a body of work I make sure that I am sharing it with the world. Above are screen shots of all the ways in which I have placed my work in the world. My website is a space where all my projects are collected so anyone who wants to look at a body of work can go there. My Instagram is a space where I am constantly sharing the latest work that I am making and this usually draws people to head over to my website. Instagram is a space that I would like to develop and build a bigger audience on as I think that it is a good space for people to see what I am working on a weekly/ daily basis. I have also placed my moving image on Youtube which is primarily so that I can plug it into my website easily and also quickly share a link with anyone that might want to see the work. I also hope that with my work across multiple platforms this will also widen an audience and the engagement that my work receives.
My plan is to continue sharing this new body of work on my social media over the summer in order to develop the platforms. When I am busy and stressed, I usually find it difficult to have the head space to share my work so that is something that I want to give time to over the summer when I have a little bit more time on my hands. This will hopefully begin to build my online presence which will push my work out in the photographic world and hopefully land me some opportunities in the future.
